Major General Georgios Georgiadis

Major General Georgios Georgiadis is the Director of the Financial Services Directorate of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS/FSD).

He is advisor to the Chief of the HNDGS on matters of financial planning and policy in the Armed Forces.

He is responsible for drafting the regular budget of HNDGS and its subor-dinate Units and Services. He handles joint financial matters submitted by the General Staffs.

He was born in Florina.

Education

He joined the Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers in 1983 and graduated in 1987 as a 2nd Lieutenant.

He graduated from:

• Aristotle University of Thessaloniki / School of Law and Economics.
• Air War College / Junior Officers

He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MSc) from the University of Leicester, England.

He speaks English.
