Mission
The Hellenic Air Force Procurement Agency has the mission of implementing the procurement of materials both domestically and internationally, as well as executing service provision tasks assigned by the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Hellenic Tactical Air Force, Hellenic Air Force Support Command and Hellenic Air Force Training Command, with the aim of ensuring maximum healthy competition in accordance with the relevant procurement and regulatory provisions to meet the operational needs of the Hellenic Air Force.
History
The Procurement Agency of Hellenic Air Force was established on May 1950,21st as an independent Service, located in Athens.
Firstly, the Procurement Agency of Hellenic Air Force didn’t have facilities owned by Hellenic Air Force. As a result it was relocated to several places in Athens.
In May 1981, was located to a building owned by Hellenic Air Force Pension Fund firstly at Athens and Lykoyrgos Street and finally at St Dimitrios Street at Ampelokipous.
