Location
The Rhodes Air Force Resort consists of the Maritsa Airport, located in Maritsa, and the resort situated in the Agios Frangiskos area in the city of Rhodes. This area is adjacent to the Medieval City, 1.5 km from the main port, 1.4 km from the city center (Mandraki), and 20 km from “Diagoras” Airport.

Mission
The Rhodes Air Force Resort’s mission is dual. Firstly, it is operational, concerning the Maritsa Airport, supporting aircraft involved in search and rescue (SAR) operations, air ambulance services and forest firefighting, thereby contributing to the social mission of the Armed Forces.
The second role is providing accommodation at the resort facility during the summer months to permanent staff, retirees, and personnel from the Armed Forces of other countries as part of the CLIMS programs.
Infrastructure – Services
Rhodes Air Force Resort offers twenty-four (24) rooms (4 double rooms and 20 quadruple rooms, one of which is accessible for people with disabilities), a VIP guest room, and a designated laundry-drying-ironing area.
All rooms are equipped with a double bed, bunk bed (in quadruple rooms), private bathroom-shower, wardrobe, television, refrigerator, safe, fan, and central air conditioning (cooling and heating). Bed linens (sheets, pillowcases) are also available.
