Mission

Air Ground Training Squadron’s mission is to provide Instructor Pilot training to the newly placed instructor pilots assigned to fly the Airbase’s aircraft and includes the initial, theoretical and practical training to the newly placed Unit’s Technical Staff in these systems, as well as other specialties’ training at the Unit’s Air Defense weapon systems.

History

The Air Ground Training Squadron was established in August 2021 and is a consolidation of the T-6A and T-2E/C aircraft training squadron and the Weapons System and Ground Equipment School. The squadron includes the M-346 aircraft training from May 2023.
