Mission
The HAF/FAC’s mission is to manage the financial affairs of the Hellenic Air Force, external compensations, and financial requirements for providing services or materials to third parties as well as training foreign cadets in Hellenic Air Force’s schools. The Centre also handles matters of pensions, food supplement, hospitalizations, financial aids, procedural decisions, NATO special budget credits, payroll coding – computerization of Military and Civilian Personnel, as well as any other matters assigned on a case-by-case basis by special Instructions and orders of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff.
History
The HAF/FAC was established as an independent financial Unit on January 1984, 1st. By the establishment of the Financial and Accounting Centre the financial Service of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff was changed its obligations to the computerized extraction of the Hellenic Air Force’s Staff salaries, monitoring of financial demands and other financial issues.
