Mission
The Synthetic Training Squadron’s mission is to upgrade the training provided by the various schools of the ATC, through modern technologies which allow the conduct of complex tactical scenarios and the simultaneous training of personnel of various specialties. Currently, the Squadron supports training at various schools such as Joint Terminal Attack Controller, Naval Coordinator, Joint SOT Series, Range Training Officer, Pair Leader, etc.
History
In December 2022, Synthetic Training Squadron was inaugurated, consisting of 11 simulators (10 aircraft and 1 JTAC) designed and built by ATC personnel.
