On Sunday the 20th of November, the 124 Basic Training Wing celebrated its 70-years of existence with an event that took place in their amphitheatre, along with the presence of high-ranking officials from the Air Force and Ground Forces, as well as local political and religious leaders.
The event highlighted its history through narrations, photographic displays and video documentaries regarding the Hellenic Air Force and the military service of soldiers.
The Orphea Tripolis choir from the Tripoli Music School and the Municipality of Northern Kinouria performed musical parts of the National Anthem throughout the event.
