Graduation Ceremony of the 2nd Interdisciplinary Class of FWS

On Tuesday November 28, 2017, at the Air Tactics Center, in Andravida air base, the graduation ceremony of the 2nd Interdisciplinary Class of Fighter Weapons School (FWS) of 2017.

The Hellenic Tactical Air Force Chief, Lieutenant General Georgios Blioumis, awarded the degree to the graduates. In total, thirty-two (32) officers of the Hellenic Air Force (HAF) and three (3) officers of the Greek Army were trained.

The school’s goal is to promote co-operation, teamwork, and the development of unified tactical thinking. In addition, it provides realistic operational training, and ensures the formation of fighters with high perception in the modern operational environment composed of multiple targets and threats, with the flexibility to adapt to complex tactics.
