Along with the DH9 and the Shopwith Camel, the DH4 was the main airplane type of the Naval Flying Corps during the Asia Minor campaign. They were delivered in Moudros bay, Limnos island, in October 1918. They redeployed in Tatoi, where one of them was destroyed in an accident in May 19, 1919. Some were later deployed to Asia Minor, where they operated for more than a year. After the campaign the remaining aircraft were scrapped.
