It was the basic training airplane of the Army Flying Corps, during the first years after the war. It was notably slow, even by the standards of that time, and for this reason it was only used for the training of the young pilots, and for a relatively short period. It belonged to the remnants of the French air force, which saw action in Macedonia, and was made available for Greece. At least one airplane was used during the Asia Minor campaign, as liaison for the rear lines, during 1921.
