Converted into a hydroplane, a single Maurice Farman 7 performed the first ever Naval Cooperation mission. On 24 January 1913, pilot Michail Moutousis and the observer Aristidis Moraitinis, successfully performed a daring reconnaissance mission over the Strait of Nagara, in order to verify the disposition of the Ottoman fleet.
The aircraft was destroyed on March 3, 1913 in Paleo Faliro, when the seatbelt of pilot Michail Moutousis was caught in the controls, causing the pilot to lose control of the plane and crash.
