It was used during the WWI from the Greek-French fighter squads. They were then handed over to the Greek Army Flying Corps and used during the Asia Minor campaign. At first glance they seem similar to the SPAD VII, as they only differ in details which can be noted through careful observation of their designs. They were painted which the six-colored French air force camouflage and the insignia were initially the French ones, painted in blue color.
